Is it a Bible study?
It’s more like an opportunity for you to have conversations with others with different backgrounds and experiences with Jesus. Together you’ll go through a guide that will have you encountering stories about Jesus from the Bible and give you a safe place to talk about your reaction to the content.

Who are the hosts?
All of our My Groups hosts started out by being the new person in a small group. They have gone through My Church’s My Groups training with an emphasis on how to best host open and enjoyable conversations.

What if I don’t like my group?
We shuffle everyone around at least three times a year. We do this so that you can meet and connect with other people at My Church. We get it, sometimes a group is just not a good fit for you. After trying the group for a week or two we are happy to connect you to another group.

What if I say something wrong?
Your voice is important to each and every conversation. Think of it this way, you are an expert on your own opinion and experiences, and in small groups, everyone is valuable.
