Who are the leaders?
My Kids is led by a group of volunteers who love kids and Jesus. Each team member has been trained on safety procedures, positive discipline practices, teaching with the whole child in mind and has passed a criminal background check. Each week they wear matching “My Kids” shirts so they are easy for you to spot. Kim Bartok serves as our “My Kids and Family Team Coordinator”.

What is the check-in procedure?
Great question. At our Sunday My Groups gatherings, you can check-in your kids as early as 9:45am to drop them off so you’ll have plenty of time to get to your group. Your child’s safety is our top priority.

• First timers, you’ll need to fill out a short registration form for each child so we can enter their information into our system.

• Check in your kids at the My Kids kiosk by utilizing the computer check-in process. A name tag and pick-up slip will be printed for you. Hold on to your printed pick-up slip, put the name tag on your child and be sure a My Kids team member welcomes them into the room. Then go and enjoy your adult My Groups time.

What is the pick-up procedure?
You can pick up your kids from the My Kids room whenever your group’s meeting is finished, around 11:15am. Present your child’s printed pick-up slip that you received at check-in to a My Kids team member. We’ll verify that it matches your child’s name tag and release them to you.

What about my infant or toddler?
My Kids is designed for children preschool-5th grade, but there is still a place for your little one. They are always welcome to attend My Groups with you. In fact, there’s probably someone in your group who would love to give your arms a rest and snuggle your sweet baby. If you feel like it’s becoming too much of a challenge for your little one to come along with you, let us know and our My Kids and Family Team will do whatever they can to help meet your family’s needs.

What if my child has food allergies?
We do eat a snack at My Kids, so if your child has a food allergy, please indicate that on their registration card. Then feel free to send a snack with them or check with us to see if our planned snack is safe for your child. We will always keep allergy-safe snack options on hand and we won’t be offended if you double check with us. We want to help you keep your kids safe.

What if my child has special needs?
My Kids is a place for all kids. The My Kids team members will do their very best to meet the needs of your child. We have buddies that are available to help if your child would like some extra assistance in participating, staying engaged or for when they need to take a break.
