What is My Karate+?
You can give your children lessons that last a lifetime. My Karate+ will teach your children more than just kicking and punching. Each class is specifically designed to teach your children life skills that will prepare them for success at accomplishing their future goals.

Who is the instructor?
Master Jim Bartok is a 4th degree black belt in the Korean art of Tang Soo Do. Before becoming a pastor and moving to Ozark, Master Bartok was the owner and head instructor of a successful martial art school in Flat Rock, Michigan. He has spent over 15 years training and teaching martial arts to adults and children of all ages. He is an international certified instructor and has a passion for helping students achieve their goals.

Will martial arts make my child become more aggressive?
Absolutely not!  Studies have shown time and time again that martial arts training actually helps children learn to self-regulate their emotions.  Plus, what better place for them to “work off some energy” than kicking and punching on soft pads?

Where can I get a My Karate+ uniform?
You can order your complete My Karate+ uniform at any time. Uniforms are only $25 and can be ordered by emailing us at info@mychurchozark.org

Can I wear shoes?
Yes, you are welcome to wear shoes that you feel comfortable and confident in.

Can I stay and watch?
Yes, all students must have a parent or legal guardian present at all times. By staying you also can see your child grow and help them practice at home.
